Key Responsibilities:
As a Driver for AW Rostamani Holdings in Dubai, your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating company-assigned vehicles (cars, vans, or light trucks) for the transportation of goods, documents, and personnel.
- Ensuring all deliveries and pick-ups are completed efficiently and within designated timeframes.
- Conducting daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or damage promptly.
- Maintaining accurate logs of travel, deliveries, and mileage as per company procedure.
- Adhering strictly to all UAE traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards at all times.
- Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with clients, suppliers, and the public.
- Assisting with basic loading and unloading of vehicles when required.
- Keeping the assigned vehicle clean, tidy, and in good working condition at all times.
Requirements & Skills:
The ideal candidate for this Driver position will have:
- A valid UAE driving license (minimum license category required: Light Vehicle). A Heavy Vehicle license is a plus for specific roles.
- A proven clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience within the UAE, with strong familiarity with Dubai roads, highways, and industrial areas.
- Good physical health and the ability to handle items of reasonable weight.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform minor checks (oil, water, tire pressure).
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is beneficial.
- A professional appearance and a polite, customer-focused attitude.
