In this hands-on role, you will be the first line of defense for all technical issues within the organization. You will provide L1 and L2 support, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, maintain network infrastructure, and ensure that all employees have the technology they need to perform at their best .

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide first-line and second-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues .
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices .
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS), productivity software (Office 365), and business applications .
- Perform remote troubleshooting using tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar platforms .
System & Network Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points .
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and Exchange/Office 365 admin centers .
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and antivirus deployments to ensure cybersecurity compliance .
- Assist with backup and recovery procedures to protect critical business data .
User Training & Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles for common IT issues .
- Provide basic training to end-users on new software, security best practices, and IT policies .
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed, ensuring proper follow-through .
Asset Management:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware, software licenses, and peripherals .
- Assist with procurement of new equipment and ensure proper setup and deployment .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) .
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support roles .
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange .
- Experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) .
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk) .
- Hands-on experience with hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance .
Certifications (Preferred):
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate .
- ITIL Foundations certification is a plus .
Personal Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users .
- Patient, customer-focused attitude with a genuine desire to help others .
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a busy environment .
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a plus .
