About the Role:
You will be the sole culinary professional in charge of meal planning, preparation, and kitchen management for a small, high-profile family. The role requires a refined palate, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to cook nutritious, creative, and varied cuisines tailored to the family’s preferences. Discretion, professionalism, and a passion for quality are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals for 3–5 family members, emphasizing nutrition, taste, and elegant presentation.
- Design and execute menus for private dinners and gatherings (up to 10 guests), demonstrating versatility and flair.
- Manage full kitchen operations, including inventory, sourcing of high-quality ingredients, grocery shopping, and stock control.
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen.
- Adapt meals to accommodate dietary preferences, allergies, and health-conscious choices.
- Demonstrate creativity across various cuisines while ensuring meals are balanced and wholesome.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Private Chef in a high-end household or within VIP hospitality (hotels, yachts, or fine dining restaurants).
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, with a strong focus on healthy, modern, and nutritious cooking.
- Impeccable personal and professional references.
- Excellent command of English (additional languages are a plus).
- Exceptional time-management, organization, and communication skills.
- Discreet, respectful, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Valid UAE driving license and own transportation are advantageous.
