PWC Dubai is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a critical 3-month contract (extendable) to lead and manage a large-scale banking technology merger integration or transformation program in the Middle East. Immediate starters are highly preferred.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing a complex, high-stakes technology integration or transformation program for a major banking client. This role requires deep expertise in banking technology ecosystems, merger integrations, and regulatory environments within the Middle East.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end project management of a large-scale banking technology merger, integration, or digital transformation program.
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scoping, budgeting, execution, risk management, and reporting.
  • Conduct IT ecosystem and architecture assessments and contribute to target-state definition and technology roadmap development.
  • Develop and execute data migration strategies for core banking systems.
  • Facilitate workshops and manage communications with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology delivery, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and formalize high-quality project reports, presentations, and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of proven experience managing large-scale banking technology merger integrations or transformation programs within the Middle East banking sectorExperience in Jordanian banking is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of core banking systems, digital channels, enterprise applications, and banking control functions.
  • Hands-on experience with IT architecture assessment, target-state definition, and technology master planning in regulated financial environments.
  • Consulting background is highly preferred, with exceptional stakeholder management and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to operate under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and align multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and formal reporting skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar certification.
  • Experience working with or within Big 4 consulting firms (like PWC).
  • Arabic language proficiency.
