Key Responsibilities Guest Relation Officer:
As a Guest Relation Officer in our Dubai property, your core mission will be to anticipate needs and exceed expectations. Your duties will include:
- Providing a warm, personalized welcome and seamless check-in/check-out experience for all guests, with special attention to VIPs and loyalty program members.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for guests during their stay, handling inquiries, requests, and any concerns with professionalism and immediate follow-up.
- Building relationships with guests to understand preferences and ensure their stay is tailored and memorable.
- Coordinating with various departments (Housekeeping, Concierge, F&B) to fulfill special requests, arrange amenities, and schedule experiences.
- Managing guest profiles and updating preferences in the hotel’s property management system to personalize future visits.
- Proactively resolving any guest issues with empathy and efficiency, turning potential challenges into opportunities to demonstrate outstanding service.
- Upholding and promoting the highest standards of the hotel’s luxury brand identity and service culture at all times.
Requirements & Skills:
The ideal candidate for this Guest Relation Officer position in Dubai will possess:
- Proven experience in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end service environment.
- Impeccable communication skills in English; fluency in an additional language (Arabic, Russian, French, Mandarin) is a highly valued asset.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, natural empathy, and a gracious, calm demeanor under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office.
- A professional appearance and a passion for the hospitality industry.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or Tourism is preferred.
