Key Responsibilities
As the Operations Manager in Dubai, you will be responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of daily business activities.
1. Strategic Operations Leadership:
- First, you will design, plan, and implement strategy for all operational functions to support business goals.
- Furthermore, you will establish policies, processes, and systems to improve organizational efficiency and performance.
- Consequently, you will manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
2. Team Management & Development:
- You will lead and develop a team of department heads or supervisors, setting clear objectives and performance standards.
- Additionally, you will foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability across teams.
- Moreover, you will oversee staffing, training, and development to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
3. Process Optimization & Performance:
- You will analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement.
- You will also ensure quality control and health & safety standards are met in all operations.
- Finally, you will liaise with senior management and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Requirements & Skills
To excel as our Operations Manager, you must demonstrate a strong blend of leadership, analytical, and practical skills.
Essential Experience & Credentials:
- A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- A strong track record of successfully improving operational processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA or master’s is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis, performance metrics, and business management software (ERP systems).
Critical Leadership Competencies:
- Exceptional Leadership: Outstanding people management skills with the ability to lead and inspire large teams.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is beneficial.
- Change Management: Proven ability to manage and lead organizational change initiatives effectively.
