Key Responsibilities
As a Security Guard with Guardforce in Dubai, you will be entrusted with protecting people and property.
1. Access Control & Monitoring:
- First, you will monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles and people into company property, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Furthermore, you will maintain visitor logs and ensure all guests sign in and out according to established procedures .
- Consequently, you will prevent unauthorized access and report any security breaches immediately.
2. Patrolling & Surveillance:
- You will conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to maintain order, deter incidents, and establish a visible security presence .
- Additionally, you will monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect and prevent suspicious activities .
- You will remain highly vigilant to pre-empt incidents such as theft, trespassing, fire, or other safety hazards .
3. Incident Response & Reporting:
- You will respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, acting lawfully in direct defense of life or property .
- You will prepare accurate and detailed reports of daily activities, irregularities, and incidents for management review .
- Finally, you will ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this Security Guard position must meet the following criteria:
Essential Requirements:
- Valid SIRA Certificate from the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (Dubai) is mandatory .
- Minimum 1 year of proven security experience in the UAE .
- Physically fit and alert, capable of standing for extended periods and conducting patrols .
- Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, and understanding). Proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is highly beneficial .
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent .
- Presentable appearance with a professional demeanor .
- Honest, confident, and reliable character with a clean employment record .
- Availability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays .
