We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer / Site Engineer to join our Dubai team and help us deliver excellence in every project we undertake.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer/Site Engineer at Thushhaara Technical Services LLC, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing various building maintenance and MEP projects to ensure efficient operations and optimal service quality . You will be the vital link between the technical office, contractors, consultants, and site workforce, ensuring that projects are executed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety guidelines, and timelines .
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budget .
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks .
- Conduct site inspections to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met .
Site Supervision & Execution:
- Supervise and monitor civil and MEP works at the project site including excavation, foundation, concrete, formwork, and finishing works .
- Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, project specifications, and construction schedule .
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and site staff to ensure smooth progress of activities .
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams and troubleshoot issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems .
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and plans for maintenance and construction tasks .
- Suggest upgrades and modifications to building systems to improve efficiency and reliability .
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of construction materials and workmanship .
- Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards .
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all maintenance activities including reports and safety records .
Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Prepare project budgets and monitor expenses to ensure costs remain within approved limits .
- Monitor procurement and inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment .
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to senior management .
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress .
- Participate in site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project engineering, site engineering, or maintenance engineering, preferably within building maintenance, MEP, or facilities management .
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) .
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office .
- Familiar with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards .
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications .
Personal Attributes:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills .
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure .
- Teamworking skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders .
- UAE driving license is mandatory .
