About the Role:
You will provide essential support to the finance department, assisting with daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in accounting and finance within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and entry.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, bank reconciliations, and month-end activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to collect and verify financial data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- A degree is not required if the candidate has more than 2 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel. Familiarity with accounting software like Zoho Books is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to join immediately.
- Previous relevant experience is beneficial but not mandatory for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
