Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Sales Assistant in Dubai, you will be instrumental in driving product adoption and maintaining client satisfaction across your assigned territory.

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:

  • First, you will develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets within your designated territory.
  • Furthermore, you will identify and target potential customers, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals, to expand the customer base.
  • Consequently, you will manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and product demonstrations to negotiation and successful deal closure.

2. Product Promotion & Clinical Education:

  • You will promote and sell medical devices, pharmaceutical products, or healthcare services by clearly articulating their clinical applications, features, and competitive advantages.
  • Additionally, you will conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals to ensure proper product use and maximize therapeutic value.
  • Moreover, you will maintain deep, current knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, industry trends, and competitor activities.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • You will build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and institutional decision-makers.
  • You will also provide exceptional customer service and post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Finally, you will address client inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.

4. Reporting & Administrative Support:

  • You will track and report sales performance, market conditions, customer feedback, and competitive activities within your territory.
  • Additionally, you will prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports to management.
  • You may also assist in preparing regulatory submissions and product documentation when required .

Requirements & Skills

The ideal candidate for this Medical Sales Assistant position must demonstrate both sales acumen and healthcare industry knowledge.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical detailing, or healthcare customer service within the UAE.
  • Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle is mandatory for territory coverage.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred for effective communication with the local healthcare community.

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UAE healthcare landscape, including private and government hospital networks.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
