About the Role:
You will lead the FF&E process from concept to installation on ultra-high-end projects. Working closely with Interior Designers and Project Managers, you will be the driving force behind the materiality, furnishings, and artistic direction that define our studio’s signature luxury aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive FF&E concepts, schemes, and budgets aligned with client visions and project narratives.
- Research, source, and specify unique furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and accessories from high-end suppliers, artisans, and galleries.
- Produce detailed FF&E schedules, budgets, specification sheets, and tender documentation with precision.
- Manage the entire FF&E procurement lifecycle, including client presentations, supplier liaison, custom item design, and quality control.
- Oversee logistics, coordination with procurement teams, and installation on-site to ensure flawless execution.
- Mentor junior FF&E team members and contribute to the studio’s material library and vendor relationships.
- Stay at the forefront of global luxury trends, materials, and products.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of dedicated FF&E experience, with a proven portfolio within the luxury residential, boutique hotel, or high-end yacht/private jet sectors.
- Exceptional knowledge of luxury brands, international suppliers, bespoke manufacturers, and antiques.
- Mastery in creating detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in Revit is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, and procurement logistics.
- Outstanding visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present concepts compellingly to discerning clients.
