Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support:

  • Partner with the sales team as the primary technical resource throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery to close .
  • Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their technical needs, pain points, and operational challenges .
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, telling a story of how our solutions contribute value .

Solution Design & Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic sales plans for key accounts and vertical markets .
  • Customize product solutions to meet specific customer needs and specifications, providing alternative solutions as required .
  • Clearly articulate customer requirements to Product Management and engineering teams to influence future product development .

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term engagement .
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues during and after the sales process .
  • Provide post-sales support and follow-up to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction .

Market Intelligence & Growth:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to effectively position the company’s offerings .
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and showcase our solutions .
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotes, and sales contracts .

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field), Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline .
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or technical pre-sales role, preferably within the [Industry/Sector – e.g., IT, Construction, Manufacturing, Energy] .

Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge relevant to the industry (e.g., networking protocols, HVAC systems, IoT solutions, SaaS platforms) .
  • Experience with product demonstrations and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly language .
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite .
