Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Insights:
- Analyze complex financial datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization .
- Develop predictive models for financial forecasting, risk assessment, and customer behavior analysis .
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders across the organization .
AI & Machine Learning Applications:
- Design and implement machine learning solutions for applications such as fraud detection, credit scoring, and investment analysis .
- Apply natural language processing (NLP) to analyze financial documents, news sentiment, and regulatory filings .
- Develop automated reporting and alerting systems to support real-time decision-making .
Process Automation:
- Identify opportunities for automation in financial processes, including reconciliation, reporting, and compliance monitoring .
- Implement robotic process automation (RPA) solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors .
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems .
Risk & Compliance:
- Use AI and data analytics to enhance compliance monitoring, AML detection, and risk management capabilities .
- Develop models to identify suspicious transactions and potential compliance breaches .
- Ensure all AI applications adhere to regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field .
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, AI, or machine learning roles, preferably within financial services .
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and machine learning .
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) .
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) .
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView) .
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services .
Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of financial products, services, and processes (banking, investments, insurance, etc.) .
- Experience with financial data sources and systems .
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data privacy and AI ethics .
Personal Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious, innovative mindset .
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences .
- Results-oriented with focus on practical applications that deliver business value .
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment .
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a plus .
