About the Role:
You will be a key player in our Agile development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing practices. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in both manual and automated testing within fast-paced, product-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform both white-box and black-box testing across web, mobile, and/or backend systems.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and suites.
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Conduct database testing using SQL and develop scripts for test automation and validation.
- Identify, document, and track defects; support issue resolution and regression testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proven experience writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Appium, etc.).
- Solid SQL skills and experience in scripting (Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
