Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to conceptualize and execute stunning interior spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design sensibility, technical expertise, and ability to manage projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with clients and our in-house architectural team to transform spaces into functional works of art.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative interior design concepts that align with client requirements and the FN Architects design philosophy.
- Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, 3D renderings, and material presentations.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), finishes, and color palettes.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control during execution.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the UAE and global markets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an interior design role, preferably within a consultancy or architectural firm in the UAE.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max (or similar rendering software), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of completed projects (residential/commercial).
- Creativity: Exceptional eye for detail, color, and spatial awareness.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Visa Status: Candidates must have their own valid residency visa in Dubai or be willing to relocate with sponsorship (sponsorship options available for outstanding candidates).
