About the Role

Are you a vigilant defender of digital systems with a passion for identifying and mitigating security threats? We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security operations team in Dubai .

In this critical role, you will monitor networks and systems for security breaches, investigate incidents, implement security measures, and help safeguard sensitive data against evolving cyber threats. You will work closely with IT and business teams to ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations .

Key Responsibilities

Security Monitoring & Incident Response:

Monitor security tools and systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) for suspicious activity and potential threats .
Investigate security alerts, conduct triage, and escalate incidents as needed .
Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery activities .
Conduct digital forensics and root cause analysis on security incidents .

Vulnerability Management:

Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests on networks, systems, and applications .
Analyze scan results, prioritize risks, and coordinate with IT teams to remediate findings .
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploit techniques .

Security Architecture & Implementation:

Assist in designing and implementing security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls, and encryption .
Configure and maintain security tools and platforms to ensure optimal performance .
Support the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures .

Compliance & Governance:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, UAE data protection laws) .
Participate in security audits and risk assessments .
Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training for employees .

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field .
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related role .

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of security technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and DLP .
Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7) .
Understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure) .
Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite) .
Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and cyber kill chain methodology .

Certifications (Highly Preferred):

Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GIAC, or CISM .

Personal Attributes:

Strong analytical and investigative mindset with attention to detail .
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure .
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences .
Commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving field .
Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a plus .
