Key Responsibilities
#Financial Analyst job in Dubai
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans .
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement .
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning .
Reporting & Insights:
- Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders .
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making .
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide commentary on business performance .
Data Analysis & Modeling:
- Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify patterns and opportunities .
- Build and enhance financial models for revenue forecasting, cost optimization, and profitability analysis .
- Utilize data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and compelling manner .
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with departments across the organization to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support .
- Support business development activities, including financial due diligence and investment analysis .
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field .
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA is highly preferred .
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles .
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) .
- Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) .
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a strong advantage .
- Knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements .
Personal Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail .
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders .
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement .

- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a plus .
