Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives .
- Elicit, document, and validate detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for fintech products and platforms .
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation .
Product Development Support:
- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and development teams to translate requirements into functional specifications .
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives .
- Support the development team throughout the development lifecycle, clarifying requirements and answering questions .
Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital enhancement .
- Develop process maps, workflows, and use cases to visualize current and future states .
- Recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience .
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios .
- Coordinate UAT sessions with business users, gathering feedback and managing issue resolution .
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards .
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment .
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status and insights .
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field .
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services .
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulations (payments, lending, wealth management, etc.) .
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) .
- Proficiency in creating user stories, process flows, and functional specifications .
- Familiarity with API integrations, digital wallets, and emerging fintech trends .
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is a plus .
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to facilitate workshops and present to diverse audiences .
- Curiosity and passion for innovation in financial services .
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment .
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a strong advantage .
