In this role, you will evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes across the organization. Your insights will help ensure compliance, improve operational efficiency, and safeguard assets in a rapidly evolving financial landscape where regulatory demands continue to shape the industry .

Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning & Execution:
- Participate in the planning and execution of internal audit engagements across various business units and functions .
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks .
- Conduct audit testing in accordance with professional standards and audit methodology .
Risk Assessment:
- Identify and assess key risks within audit scope, including financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks .
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that may impact the organization .
Reporting & Recommendations:
- Document audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations clearly and concisely .
- Prepare audit reports for management and audit committees, communicating results and actionable recommendations .
- Work with management to develop remediation plans and track implementation of audit recommendations .
Compliance & Regulatory:
- Ensure audit activities comply with internal policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements .
- Support regulatory audits and inspections as needed .
- Maintain knowledge of UAE Central Bank regulations and other applicable laws .
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and techniques .
- Participate in special projects and investigations as assigned .
- Stay current with professional development and industry best practices .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field .
- Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA is highly preferred .
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management, preferably in banking or financial services .
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks (COSO), and risk assessment methodologies .
- Understanding of financial services operations, products, and regulations .
- Proficiency in audit software and MS Office applications .
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques is a plus .

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present findings clearly .
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism .
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment .
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across the organization .
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a strong advantage .
