With Dubai’s construction sector continuing to expand, structural engineers are in high demand to ensure that new developments meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and design excellence . In this role, you will design and analyze structural systems for a variety of projects, from high-rise towers and commercial complexes to infrastructure and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Analysis:
- Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects using materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures .
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards .
- Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and design reports .
Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs with overall project requirements .
- Participate in design reviews and coordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues .
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters .
Code Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure all designs comply with UAE building codes, international standards (ACI, ASCE, BS, Eurocodes), and local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DM, Trakhees) .
- Stay updated on changes to codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering .
Site Support & Inspections:
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards .
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to site queries (RFIs) .
- Assist in resolving structural issues that arise during construction .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred) .
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within a consultancy or design firm in the UAE .
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or SAP2000 .
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit Structure for drafting and modeling .
- Deep understanding of reinforced concrete and steel design principles .
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and international standards .
Certifications (Preferred):
- Professional Engineering license (PE, CEng, or equivalent) .
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership .
Personal Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration .
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment .
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous learning .
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a plus .
