Key Responsibilities
As the Human Resource Manager in Dubai, you will oversee the entire employee lifecycle and act as a strategic advisor to leadership.
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- First, you will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Furthermore, you will lead talent management, including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Consequently, you will bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and fostering a high-performance culture.
2. Talent Acquisition & Development:
- You will oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
- Additionally, you will manage training and development programs that enhance employee skills and support career growth.
- Moreover, you will develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and policies across the organization.
3. Operations, Compliance, and Employee Relations:
- You will ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, staying updated on UAE Labour Law and related regulations.
- You will also oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and equitable.
- Finally, you will manage complex employee relations issues, performance management systems, and HR reporting.
Requirements & Skills
To excel as our Human Resource Manager, you must demonstrate both strategic vision and operational expertise.
Essential Experience & Credentials:
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with 3-5 years in a managerial capacity, ideally within the UAE or GCC region.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE Labour Law, immigration (visa processing), and all local government portals (MOHRE, etc.) is mandatory.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies, systems, and metrics.
Critical Leadership Competencies:
- Exceptional Communication & Influence: Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant asset.
- Strategic & Business Acumen: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective HR initiatives.
- Leadership & Ethics: Strong people management skills with the ability to lead the HR team and champion integrity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for managing ambiguity and resolving complex employee and organizational issues.
