About the Role:
You will be a senior specialist driving digital payment initiatives, from strategy through to implementation, with a focus on innovative payment solutions, card programs, and mobile wallet launches. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, regulatory awareness, and project delivery excellence within the fast-evolving fintech landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support digital payment projects, including BaaS (Banking-as-a-Service), card program launches, and mobile/digital wallet implementations.
- Provide subject matter expertise on digital payment ecosystems, embedded finance, and card system integrations.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, with particular attention to Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) requirements and regional fintech frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, product, compliance, and business units.
- Analyze market trends and regulatory updates to inform product and project strategy.
- Develop detailed project documentation, requirements, and operational guidelines.
- Act as a key point of contact for partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders on payment-related topics.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in fintech, digital payments, or banking project delivery.
- Hands-on experience with BaaS platforms, card program management, or mobile/digital wallet launches.
- Deep understanding of digital payment systems, card schemes, and embedded finance trends.
- Familiarity with Saudi fintech regulations and SAMA compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in or with financial institutions in the GCC region.
- Knowledge of payment gateways, tokenization, and fraud prevention mechanisms.
- Professional certifications in payments, compliance, or project management.
- Arabic language skills are advantageous.
