About the Role

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Analysis:

Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points .
Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions and prioritize features .
Develop user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps to guide the design process .

UX Design & Information Architecture:

Create wireframes, user flows, and site maps to visualize user journeys and interactions .
Design intuitive information architectures that make complex content easy to navigate .
Develop interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision to demonstrate functionality and gather feedback .

UI Design & Visual Branding:

Design visually stunning and consistent user interfaces across web and mobile platforms .
Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency .
Apply color theory, typography, iconography, and spacing principles to create engaging visual experiences .
Ensure designs are responsive and adaptable across different devices and screen sizes .

Collaboration & Testing:

Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design with business goals and technical feasibility .
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively .
Conduct usability testing sessions and iterate designs based on user feedback .
Collaborate with developers during implementation to ensure design fidelity .

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field .
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications .

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision .
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and high-quality visual outputs .
Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing techniques .
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development constraints (coding not required but beneficial) .
Familiarity with design systems and component-based design approaches .
