Role: Quality Analyst
Employment Type: 12-month contract (extendable)
Work Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred, or maximum 2–4 weeks
About the Role:
You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, ensuring software reliability and performance. This role is ideal for a proactive QA professional who excels in both manual and automated testing within collaborative Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (added advantage).
- Conduct database validation and data integrity testing using SQL.
- Collaborate closely with development teams in an Agile/Scrum workflow.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance QA effectiveness.
- Work on SAP testing modules (good to have).
Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience writing clear, concise test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Katalon, etc.).
- Solid SQL knowledge and scripting skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred/Nice-to-Have:
- SAP testing experience.
- Arabic language skills.
- ISTQB certification.
- Automation testing experience.
- Previous experience in government or public sector projects.
