What You Will Do
As a Warehouse Picker & Packer at Al Tannan General Trading, you will play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently .
Pick Customer Orders
You will receive order forms or digital pick lists. Your task is to move through the warehouse, locate the correct items, and pick them from their storage locations. This requires careful attention to detail to ensure you select the right products, sizes, colors, and quantities as specified on each order .
Pack Items Safely for Shipment
Once items are picked, you will pack them securely to prevent damage during transit. You will select appropriate box sizes, use protective materials like bubble wrap or packing peanuts, and seal packages properly . For some products, you may also attach price tags or identification labels before they are shipped.
Maintain Warehouse Organization
You will help keep the warehouse neat and organized. This includes restocking shelves with new merchandise, rotating products to ensure older stock is used first, and keeping items separated and easy to locate . When you receive new shipments, you may assist with unloading and comparing invoices to items received to ensure everything is correct.
Perform Quality Checks
Before packing items, you will survey them for any possible damage or defects. If you notice any issues, you will report them to your supervisor so that damaged or defective items can be handled properly—whether that means setting them aside for return to vendors or disposing of obsolete stock according to company procedures .
Operate Basic Warehouse Equipment
You will use various pieces of equipment to move and handle products safely. This may include pallet jacks, dolly loaders, and pallet wrappers. Forklift operation may be required for experienced candidates, though training can be provided for the right person .
Follow Safety Protocols
Safety is a top priority in our warehouse. You will follow all established safety protocols and immediately report any hazards or safety concerns to management. You will also maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area throughout your shift .

Experience and Skills
Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is helpful but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who show the right attitude .
Basic computer knowledge is preferred. You should be comfortable using simple warehouse systems or order fulfillment software to track orders and maintain records .
Physical Requirements
This role requires physical endurance. You will be on your feet for most of your shift, moving through the warehouse, lifting items, and handling products. You should be able to lift items weighing up to 20-25 kilograms safely and repeatedly .

- Timing: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 6 days per week
