About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented and patient-focused pharmacist looking to advance your career in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Pharmacist to join our expanding pharmacy team in Dubai .
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing expert pharmaceutical care, and counseling patients on the proper use of their prescriptions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and ensure the highest standards of patient safety .

Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing & Management:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products in compliance with legal regulations and professional standards .
- Review and interpret physician prescriptions, checking for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions or contraindications .
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including proper storage, rotation, and timely ordering of medications and supplies .
- Prepare and compound medications as needed, following strict safety and hygiene protocols .
Patient Care & Counseling:
- Provide expert medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, storage requirements, and necessary precautions .
- Answer patient questions and address concerns regarding their medications with empathy and clarity .
- Monitor patient medication profiles to ensure therapeutic effectiveness and identify any potential issues .
Clinical Collaboration:
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to review patient medication regimens and recommend adjustments when necessary .
- Participate in ward rounds or clinical meetings as required to contribute pharmaceutical expertise to patient care planning .
- Provide drug information and clinical guidance to other healthcare professionals within the organization .
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure strict adherence to all UAE healthcare regulations, pharmacy laws, and ethical standards set by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Ministry of Health (MOHAP) .
- Maintain accurate and complete records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and pharmacy transactions .
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs .
- Stay current with new medications, pharmaceutical trends, and continuing education requirements .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution .
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory .
- MOHAP licensure is also acceptable .
Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital, clinical pharmacy, or retail pharmacy setting .
- Experience in [optional: insert specialty if relevant, e.g., hospital inpatient, outpatient, clinical pharmacy] is preferred .
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication management .
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing and record-keeping .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to counsel patients effectively and collaborate with healthcare teams .
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and electronic medical records (EMR) .
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a strong advantage .
