About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
- Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ health, including physical examinations, vital signs monitoring, and symptom evaluation .
- Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the medical team .
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patients for any side effects or reactions .
- Provide specialized care such as wound management, and assist with medical procedures and diagnostic tests .
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide immediate life support following protocols (BLS/ACLS) .
Patient & Family Support:
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care measures .
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, addressing concerns with empathy and compassion .
- Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in the care planning process .
Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient medical records and care documentation .
- Adhere strictly to infection control standards, safety regulations, and hospital policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff .
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality improvement initiatives to stay current with best practices .
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent .
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory .
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent . ACLS or PALS certification is preferred depending on specialty .
Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or accredited healthcare facility .
- Experience in [optional: insert specialty area if relevant, e.g., medical-surgical, critical care, outpatient, endoscopy] is preferred .
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with diverse patients and families .
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems .
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team .
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are a strong advantage .
